Website, (or web site),is a set of related web pages typically served from a single web domain. A website is hosted on at least one web server, accessible via a network such as the Internet or a private local area network through an Internet address known as a uniform resource locator (URL). All publicly accessible websites collectively constitute the World Wide Web.

The World Wide Web (or WWW) is an information system of interlinked hypertext documents that are accessed via the Internet. It has also commonly become known simply as the Web. Individual document pages on the World Wide Web are called web pages and are accessed with a software application running on the user's computer, commonly called a web browser. Web pages may contain text, images, videos, and other multimedia components, as well as web navigation features consisting of hyperlinks.

Hyperlink is a reference to data that the reader can directly follow either by clicking or by hovering. A hyperlink points to a whole document or to a specific element within a document. Hypertext is text with hyperlinks. A software system is for viewing and creating hypertext is a hypertext system, and to create a hyperlink is to hyperlink (or simply to link). A user following hyperlinks is said to navigate or browse the hypertext.

IP address (or IP) is the numeric name to address the computer via the Ethernet or Internet. For example IPv4: "192.168.0.1"

Proxy server (Proxy - «representative authorized") is a service in computer networks allowing customers to indirect requests to other network services. At first the client connects to the proxy server and requests a resource (eg, a file) located on another server. Database (or DB) is an organized collection of data. The data is typically organized to model aspects of reality in a way that supports processes requiring information. For example MySQL Database.

Domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority or control within the Internet. Domain names are formed by the rules and procedures of the Domain Name System (DNS). Any name registered in the DNS is a domain name.

Hosting (or web hosting service) is a service that allows individuals and organizations to make their website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server owned or leased for use by clients, as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center.

Browser (or web browser) is an application for viewing Web pages (eg, Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
